The launch ceremony for the APO demonstration program 20kW solar power rooftop power generation system was held on the morning of April 25 at the Centre for Excellence in Training for Energy Efficiency (CETEE) of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Productivity (AIP) in Chennai, India.

 

This system was donated by Taiwan’s Taienergy Tech Co. Ltd of the Kenmec Group and, in cooperation with a local Indian company, has been installed on the roof of the new building of AIP’s CETEE. AIP is a national level center for training engineers. It will be used in the demonstration teaching of over 1000 energy engineers annually. This is the initial contribution in the effort of Taiwan’s solar power industry to provide green energy application training to Indian government, industry, academic and research circles in India.
