Fiji delegation learns the success stories and achievements of Center of Excellence on Green Productivity during their Taiwan visit
A delegation from Fiji visited Taiwan from January 21st to 24th. Led by Dr. Isimeli Waibuta Tagicakiverata, director of the Fiji National Productivity Organization, the delegation visited China Productivity Center (CPC) and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The delegation learned of the partnership of the Center of Excellence on Green Productivity with the government and acknowledged the Green Technical Service Team’s effort and achievements in promoting green industries in foreign countries. The delegation also expressed their intention to engage in future collaborative green productivity projects with Taiwan in order to use the bright and clear Fijian weather to the country’s fullest advantage. The domestic green energy vendors will benefit from technology export to the sunlit country. Furthermore, the Fijian delegation hoped to use this visit as an opportunity to engage in a dialogue with CPC on the recent business management trends, knowledge management in small and medium enterprises and other ways to enhance the corporate performance. During the talk, CPC provided an overview on how the business consulting agency helps small and medium enterprises adopt innovative mentalities and apply knowledge management techniques to manage a corporate system.
